My Year in Photos 2012
For this theme, I bring you…..a photo of dried SHRIMP in Chinatown 🙂 This is SOOC because the Oscars stole 5 hours of my life and I’m tired!
Which Shrimp won the Oscar by the way, I seem to have missed it?
Only 5 hours???? My daughter had me watching the pre-red-carpet show so I think we probably sunk 10 hours into it! Did you love Kirk Douglas?
I did too. It was awful. However, an online chat with 6 friends from high school critique all of the dresses and speeches made it tolerable.
the shrimps have dried? Probably they were watching the Oscar show, too?
haha! It was so boring. I can’t believe I watched the whole thing
Bad Oscar….it took mine time too! 🙂
At first I thought these were cashews lol then I enlarged the picture…I think I need to get stronger bi focals! 🙂
like Tammy, at first glance they looked like cashews. This is a good fulfillment of this theme!
What does SOOC mean?
straight out of camera – no processing.
I wonder how tightly woven the net must be to catch these little beasties…
Love all your Chinatown shots!
Great shot, but I love reading the above conversation!!! I watched a ton of Oscar programming too. Looks like everyone here had a good time!!
The shrimp look a bit too dry for my liking, and at first I thought they were some sort of maggot worm thing. Ugh!
Let’s see, the last movie I saw in a theater was 4 years ago and before that 10 years ago. I have never seen an Oscar Show, ever, never seen a Friends sit-com either! Never eaten a maggot worm (that I know of) either. That’s about it.
I have never seen any single episode of any branch of SVU (even though I have seen them filming in person around NYC many times) or CSI. Or Star Trek.
Thanks for the photo and the entertaining conversation. I think I prefer my shrimps wet.
At that price, I could only afford an itsy bitsy teeny weeny amount of those shrimp! I prefer the jumbo kind myself.
