My Year in Photos 2012
The evolution of a cherry blossom magnolia tree.
a very convincing example!
cool evolution!! the tight bud looks like a happy face about to spring forward. what edit did you do?
hope you didn’t have to stand there long before they unfurled, lol. great dof!
I think this was the same tree, two days in a row, but I can’t remember. The only editing I did was to up the saturation and return the color to more pink than it looked on my monitor.
Oh, I love these! The first one is so subtle and expectant. And the second is a virtual explosion of color. These are really, really sweet…..
thank you 🙂
More unfolding to my mind but well chronicled. LOL
Both photos highlight how pretty these blossoms are.
Such a beautiful evolution.
Sweet! Looks like your new camera is becoming familiar to you. I really like the soft background blue in the second shot.
OMGosh Frickin’ sensational! 🙂 I’d say you have those camera setting down now….framers, both of them! 🙂
Beautiful … you captured the best of this time of year!
Beautiful…love the range of colors in your photo also! Are cherry blossoms fragrant too?
Fabulous depth of field and color in both of these, well done!
Erm – as plant nerd though, they are magnolias
they are?! I had no idea (obviously). Thank you!
Great before and after pictures. I agree with Tammy, definitely framer worthy.
