Freeze Frame

How I spent my day – in the MRI machine….getting tons of “freeze frame” shots of my ankle. Taken with my iPhone. Not feeling too creative today.

  1. Yeah, that’d drain the creativity out of you alright. Good work having a camera and getting the shot though. Hope the ankle starts to get better.

  2. I hate those machines…I have had several back surgeries and have had tons of those!

Hope your ankle is healing properly so you can get up and going soon! 🙂

  3. They sure are loud, aren’t they? Even with headphones that clanking sound is annoying. You would think they could minimize that but apparently not. So, where did you stash your phone after this was taken? My changing room was quite far from my machine and once escorted in there was no escape!

    • This is the first time that I didn’t have to lock up my belongings in a locker outside the room. I didn’t even have to put on a gown, just rolled my yoga pants up to my knee on one leg. I was surprised too. I also have pictures of me getting electric stim nerve testing last year. THAT was not a fun day at all.

  4. well why not, it’s a piece of everyday life and as interesting as any other photo. Maybe I should try to bring my camrea when doing surgery on my feet….. don’t think it will follow me longer than to the locker though……

  5. I would say a dedicated photographer you are…..but really Gisele I’d expect you to sneak the phone inside that thing:)

  6. Hope your ankle gets better. My fav place to spend the day is in the MRI machine…not. I have learned how to dress for my visits to Duke so I don’t have to change my clothes!
