My Year in Photos 2012
It has rained 9 out of the past 10 days. I am finding it hard to get motivated – to take pictures or do much of anything. However, I did drive out to Red Hook, where I found this piece of metal tied to a metal chain link fence.
That would make a very cool HUGE print! I love it!
I am not sure what I am looking at, but it does make a cool image.
I should have taken a picture from further away (I’ll look to see if it is the background of other shots). It’s basically a sheet of metal with rusted holes in it, hanging on a chain link fence.
plus some graffiti
That thing is COOL! It might be nice to use for some texture work. Which I’m quite into right now. *hint*
I’m happy to send you the file if you will explain more about working with textures to me. Be careful what you wish for 😉
You know where to find me! 😉
An intriguing overlay of patterns. (The sun came out yesterday for about an hour while we were at the Renn Faire–just long enough for us two former redheads to bet a sun burn. Really, that is just unfair!)
What a cool photo!
A most definite modern abstraction in a combination of items. Good eye!
I don’t know why but I thought they were bullet holes, whatever they are you have made them seem very interesting.
fine and dreary or hopeless picture at the same time, I like it!
Very cool and I’d like to see it very large too. I wonder who cut/torched those holes in the metal and why.
Have you checked out Jerry Jones at http://shadowhousecreations.blogspot.com/
He is very generous and has some good tutorials.
I thought they were bullet holes too. Very cool image!
Sorry for the late reply, trying to play catch-up 🙂
I love the effect the rust marks have given to this image.
Well spotted, shot and processed!
