My Year in Photos 2012
These chandeliers at Grand Central Station are certainly Glowing. GCS is so beautiful – I need to go back and take some more shots.
love the shapes!
That second one is a WOWZER. Love the colors on the walls.
Love the angle and the colors and, of course, the glowing. So great a station.
Gorgeous shots. I’ve never been in Grand Central Station; this is not what I imagined I would see!
Great shots. So unique.
There is so much beautiful design in that building. We spent a short time there once.
The second image is just fantastic….the details and soft glow are amazing!
Love the composition of the second image with the soft glowing details.
Very beautiful!! I love the warmness of it all.
Lovely…the glowing of the beautifully shaped chandeliers and then the glowing of the stone walls of the station.
Put my vote in for #2, as that is a stunner. I like seeing these in more of an entirety, for it really shows how well they fit in with the whole design.
My memory of GCS was stepping out into the streets of NYC and having to hurdle a pile of human “remnants.” It was a very nice welcome!
Great Images!!! They don’t call that place GRAND for no reason. Haven’t been there in years – take me back again.
Excellent. I really like the composition on the bottom photo.
I really like the bottom image! It captures a side of Grand Central that many people never notice. We owe thanks to Jackie Kennedy Onassis for helping to save it.
