This is the chapel at Green-Wood Cemetery. It’s often empty and there is a sense of calm in there – it’s nice and cool and has great stained glass. One PhotoForge2 shot, one Instamatic and one pano using PhotoSynth. All from my iPhone. Click on the last one to enlarge – much better that way.

  1. Ooops, I had written a comment but when I clicked on one of the images to enlarge the comment disappeared ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
Great shots, where can I find all those different processing modes you used?

    • They are all applications for use with the iPhone. If you have an iPhone, they are all available in the AppStore – PhotoForge2 costs $3, the others are free. I am not sure if they are available for other phones.

  2. You really have the mechanics of the iphone down. Amazing images. I love the pano and the middle photo shows the beauty of the building wonderfully.

  3. Gisele, I love that pano! The iphone did a fantastic job rendering that scene. Panos are very difficult with a dslr, I haven’t had much luck at it. Congrats.

  4. Tough to choose, but if you put my feet to the fire, I’d go for that awesome pano. It’s so crisp and clear, the lighting natural.

  5. I am just amazed by the quality of pics and processing from the iphone (the new one comes out first week of October…I will be the first in line)! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Yes – I’m surprised that I can get decent shots without any processing. Not great for zooming, no flash, etc., but very handy when you don’t have your camera with you, because I always have my phone with me. Plus, so many great apps – many of them free. I have not spent more than $10 on all of the apps combined.
